Traditionally Heat Pump Buffer Tanks have been ground mounted cylinders requiring a lot of space. Here, at Green Energy Heat Pumps we have designed our own space-saving wall-mounted 50 litre buffer tanks. Our buffer tank achieves it's required temperature in 30 mins. The buffer tank is used to enhance the effectiveness of the defrost cycle in a heat pump system by providing stored heat, minimising indoor temperature fluctuations, improving overall system efficiency, and reducing wear and tear on the heat pump. This makes it an invaluable component in maintaining consistent and efficient heating in colder climates.
